Hello from Katherine...
A video I saw a while back shared how to hire an employee you can trust.
Though I've forgotten most of it, one thing I remember is that you need to hire someone who not only has the skills, they also have a sparkle in their eyes when they talk about doing work for you.
According to them, that's the thing that makes the difference. It will be obvious that they want to do the kind of work you need to hire out. (That's in addition to making sure he or she fits in with your company's values, objectives, and the personalities of your existing employees, of course.)
Administrative tasks... There's just something about them that has always attracted me. Shopping for office supplies, helping someone get that term paper typed pronto, making lists of things to do next, and working with my hands makes me shine. That's especially true when there's a bit of creativity involved, such as manipulation of photos or writing copy to sell products online.
I find myself catching errors even in my sleep, a real plus if you should happen to need a good proofreader. Temp work is a welcome challenge as well, as it keeps me on my toes working out the "in's and out's" of each new piece of work I do in order to please my employer.
And if I don't know all the needed skills yet, I'm more than happy to learn them. Part of the fun in life is learning new things!
All but one of my former employers told me that I was one of the fastest and most accurate typists they had ever had. And as you can see from my letters of reference, previous employers consistently say I deliver efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity.
If there's a way I can be of service to you in any of these ways, fill out the contact page or send me an e-mail at KatherineHaag2@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
